Thinking Outside the Box

One day before Christmas break, I went in to Kayla's class to help them build gingerbread houses with their 5th grade buddy. The cool part was that they had to figure out how to build a gingerbread house out of unusual materials. Kayla and her buddy decided to use donuts, candy canes and lots of frosting. It did not really look like a gingerbread house but they sure had fun trying!!
