Welcome Summer!!

Hooray for the last day of school!
Ice cream at the splash pad with our friends, Valerie and Wraylyn.
The Saturday after school was out, our cul de sac had an all day and into the night, "Welcome Summer" party.  The day started off with swimming at Mary's house.

Eric filled up over 200 water balloons.

After the water balloon fight, the kids had fun filling up water guns and playing in the sprinklers.

And what party is complete without food?

Last Days of School

Kyler is all registered for Kindergarten and could not be more excited!  Mommy on the other hand has mixed emotions.  I am so glad that Kyler is ready and excited for school but he has been my little sidekick for 5 years now and I am really going to miss him!!  Over the past few months, I have really tried to make the most of the days we have free by spending some fun quality time with Kyler.

After school popsicles.
Kyler and I went in to have lunch with Kayla.
Kyler is like a mini celebrity when he goes to Kayla's school.  Kayla and her friends are so excited to play with him.
Kayla and Ava on Ava's last day at Meridian.  : (
The last week of preschool we had some fun themed days.  Kyler on crazy hair day.
 Dress up day
 Campout day
Kyler on the last day of preschool.
Kayla on the last day of 2nd grade.

BRING ON SUMMER!!

Easter

Our annual Easter egg hunt at the park by my parents house.  We always have so much fun watching the kids hunt for eggs.
 And they are off!

Stephanie made these yummy Peep kabobs.
We had fun spending the day with our good friends and family.  We missed the Saba Family this year, poor Ava was sick.  : (

It was so nice having family that was visiting from Idaho join us this year.
After the egg hunt, we headed over to my parents house to go swimming.

Easter play date over at Hailey's house.

 Decorating Easter eggs.
After we decorated eggs, we roasted peeps.  Yum!
Easter morning at our house, the kids woke up nice and early to see what goodies the Easter bunny left.  We had an egg hunt in our backyard and then got ready to head over to my parents house.

It was still WAY too cold for Eric and I to get in the pool, but the kids sure didn't seem to mind.
My mom and Marisol made this super cute bunny cake.
