Field Trip to the Fire Station

Last week, I brought Kayla and Kyler along on a field trip that my preschool took to the fire station. One of the dads of a boy in my class is a firefighter for the station in Apache Junction and invited us on a tour. We drive by this particular station every time that I take Kayla to school and as soon as we turn off of the freeway, Kyler starts saying, "fire station". He loves firetrucks and screams every time the truck is parked out front or the garage is open and we can see the truck. So, I was excited to be able to take him to the station. We got a special tour of the fire station, the kids were able to climb through the truck and they even got a special helmet to wear.
