State Fair Performance

Kayla's dance team performed at the State Fair on Saturday. As usual, they did a great job! It is so cute to watch all the girls dance and have so much fun on stage. Unfortunately, Kayla was behind an enormous speaker that blocked her most of the time so I couldn't get the best pictures.

One of Kayla's biggest fans!

The Groupies

State Fair

After Kayla's performance we stayed at the Fair to play and eat yummy and very bad for you fair food. The kids had soooo much fun and it was nice to hang out with family and friends! Hopefully next year daddy can join us! : (

After walking around at the fair all day, it was time for a treat break. Nothing beats treats at the Fair! We will pass on the Fried Butter though. Seriously, GROSS! I LOVE Kyler's face in this picture. He looks so happy to start working on that ice cream cone. LOL

Chowing down on Kayla's favorite food, pizza!

Kayla's friend, Kaitlyn wrapping her up like a mummy.

Toilet papering Alexis with all the scraps.

Kayla sticking her hand in a bowl of monster brains and eyeballs. Gross!

Playing Doctor

The recovery process after Eric's surgery requires him to be facing down for two weeks, with the exception of eating, going to the bathroom and a 5 minute break every hour. To make the recovery process somewhat more comfortable for him, the doctor recommended that we get him a massage chair that will allow him to be in this position while offering his neck muscles some relief.

So, last night when daddy was laying on the couch downstairs, I came upstairs to find Kayla like this...

I asked her what she was doing and she preceded to tell me this story about how she hurt her eye and she has to look down. I was trying SO hard not to laugh because she looked hilarious and was using all the lingo that Eric and I use to create her own little situation. Soon Kyler joined in and was pretending that his eye was hurt too and he had to look down. He kept saying, "Pirates need to look down.". I must say those two sure had Eric and I laughing!!

The pirate keeping his eye down! Lol!

Looking comfy

Kyler is at the eye doctor getting his eye checked out by Kayla.

And just what every eye doctor does, use a stethoscope to listen to whats going on inside your mouth. So funny!!

Another crazy eye doctor procedure

Kayla's 1st Stage Performance

Yesterday, Kayla's dance team performed at, Chandler's Day of Play at Tumbleweed Park. Kayla has been counting down the days until her performance for about a week now and was so excited to dance on stage. All of the Snapcaps looked adorable and did an outstanding job! We were so proud of Kayla and her team!!
