Kayla's 8th Birthday Party

Kayla wanted to have her party at Jumpstreet again but this year with her favorite, Monster High theme.  Kayla had a great group of friends and family that helped make this day special and fun!

The sweet birthday girl!

We Love Long Weekends!

We enjoyed a nice long three day weekend!

Kayla and Kyler spent the night at their friend's, Nate and Emmy's house while Eric and I were able to enjoy a date night.

I love this picture.  Kyler had been so excited to sleep in Nate's new big boy bed.
On Sunday, we went to the zoo with Grandpa Doug.

 Chowing down on cotton candy.

When we got home from dinner on Sunday night, the plan was to have family movie night but when we pulled on our street and saw a lot the kids were outside playing, we decided to take advantage of the free night and just play outside.
 Wagon rides!
 Baking pumpkin muffins.  Yum!
Today we met up with Rita, Ava and Lily for lunch at Joyride and then hit the park so the kids could release their energy!
The kids attempted to feed the ducks some stale bread that they found at the playground.  The ducks were smart and passed.

Just a few pictures from our month of Halloween fun...

My kids look forward to their visit from the Great Pumpkin every year.
Just a few goodies that the Great Pumpkin left for them.

 So spooky!
Kyler's preschool class took a field trip to the pumpkin patch and had a lot of fun!

Kyler and his preschool friends all dressed up for their Halloween party.
Kayla got to wear her costume to dance.
I went in to help with Kayla's Halloween party at school and was able to grab a picture of Kayla with her buddies, Abigail and Ava.
Kayla was her teacher, Mrs. Hughes.

Our friends, Jessica and Brooke came too.

Dawson was so cute dressed up as a football player, with his baby brother, Hudson dressed as the football.

The kids had been so excited to trick-or-treat at the spooky house in our neighborhood that had about every scary monster available in their yard.
Darren and Marisol dressed as Lucy and Peppermint Patty.
And of course, Devin was Charlie Brown.  He looked adorable!!
