Kohls Ranch

We spent a very pretty and relaxing four days at one of our family's favorite places, Kohls Ranch.  We go up to Kohls Ranch every year and always have such a good time.  It is so nice to relax and just spend time together.
Our cuties at the creek.

 Having fun with Uncle Darren
Grown men fighting over a Frisbee.
Lots of snuggle time with Devin.

Games on the patio with Grandma Jean.
The kids had a lot of fun playing horseshoes.  My dad and I also played horseshoes but it was not very camera worthy.
 Halloween S'mores by the fire.

This is what happens after your kids are pumped full of sugar.

The front office provided a Scavenger Hunt list for the kids.

The kids got to go on a pony ride and of course, Kyler now wants a horse.

Look how much FUN my mom and dad are having decorating pumpkins.
The final results displayed on the patio.
We enjoyed many of our meals outside. Soaking in the atmosphere and cool weather.

Kyler wanted to teach Grandma Jean how to cross the creek at his favorite spot, the "waterfall".

Running around in the falling leaves.
Before we headed home, we stopped at Woods Canyon Lake for a boat ride.

Sedona

Once the weather cools down just a little bit, we head up to Sedona to do some hiking.  We always go to the same spot to have lunch, play in the creek, and then do some hiking.

I wish I could bottle it up and take it with me.  So relaxing...

Fun with Friends

Pool Party at the Val Vista Lakes Clubhouse.  Kayla's friend from dance, Sarah, came with us and the girls had a lot of fun.  All of the kids posing for a picture after dancing to Radio Disney.
Nothing beats swimming at night in your clothes.
Soaking wet kids enjoying an ice cream sandwich.
We watched Lily and Ava one night so Rita and Craig could have a night out on the town.  We also invited my family over to have pizza and hang out.  The girls loved smothering Devin with lots of hugs and kisses.

After an exciting "gymnastics show" upstairs, we decided that the kids were not hyper enough and needed a cupcake. Crazy kids!

My Crazy Kiddos

Kyler started swim lessons last month and quickly moved up to the next level.  He really enjoys swimming and is doing such a great job.  I love watching him get so excited to learn new things.

Kayla on picture day.  So grown up.
This year we do not have any activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays!  Hip hip hooray!!  Well, Girl Scouts is every other Tuesday but still, having two days free most weeks feels GREAT!  The kids and I have unintentionally made it a habit of going to get treats every Thursday, works for  me.
 Thanks, Kyler.  : )

Kayla's Star Student poster.
My mom and I took Kyler to the Riparian Preserve one day to play.
