Lynette's 60th Birthday

Eric's mom turned 60 last weekend and celebrated with friends and family at a surprise birthday party that was hosted by one of her friends. We had a great time at the party enjoying the people, yummy German food and drinks.

The kids jumped out and yelled "surprise" when Grandma Nette came in the door.

Swim date

We were invited over to Emmy and Nate's house for a fun swim play date along with some of our other friends. The kids had fun jumping into the pool, over and over again. Kayla is doing a great job swimming without her floaties. She seems to have it down now and is even diving into the pool. Kyler seems to have a natural swimming ability and is showing interest in trying to learn to swim without his floaties, too. Maybe swimming is going to be Kyler's "thing".



It cracks me up how Kyler always looks like he is doing a karate chop mid air.

Zumba

Kayla tried out a Zumba class at Great Play a few week ago and had a lot of fun.




I guess Kyler did not think Zumba was that exciting, he fell asleep in Grandma Jean's lap.

Bowling

A few weekends ago my parents and brother came along with us for a family bowling day. Kayla had been bowling once before but it was Kyler's first time. Both of the kids had so much fun!
