Things That Make You Go, "Hmmm..."

So, we all know how Kayla loves to dress up but sometimes her choices make me laugh!!

Caught Red Handed

Kyler stole the crunchies from the crunchie jar! That's right, when mommy and daddy were busy getting breakfast ready this morning, Kyler took advantage of the situation and helped himself to the container of crunchies! He was very happy and proud of himself when he got caught shoveling a fist full of crunchies in his mouth!

Church Picnic

We went to the Spring Picnic at our church today and it was a lot of fun! The were four inflatables for the kids to play on, a petting zoo and a salsa judging contest for the adults (yum). One of the inflatables was a HUGE water slide which of course Kayla had no fear and went down all by herself many, many, many times! Kyler loved the bounce house and even took a little nap in his stroller for about an hour. It was a fun but long day!

Pat's Run

Eric and I ran Pat's Run today with my friend, Kim and her husband Michael. After our run, my parents brought Kayla and Kyler to meet us and Kayla did the .42 Kids Run. Kayla and Daddy ran the whole time and Kayla looked soooo proud of herself! It was so cute! Mommy was running outside the tape taking pictures and cheering them on to the finish line which was at the 42 yard line in Sun Devil Stadium.

Happy Easter

On Easter Day, Kayla was excited to wake up and see what the Easter Bunny had left for her. Well, not much since the "Easter Bunny" is sick of toys and clutter so "he" decided to take it easy this year (what a scrooge, haha) and Kayla got a bunny from Build-a-Bear and Kyler got some books and yummy snacks. We went to church and then on to my parent's house for brunch and visiting. The weather was gorgeous so we spent most of the day on the patio visiting and playing with the kids. We had family in town from Michigan so it was nice to see them and they enjoyed soaking up the Arizona sun!

Easter Egg Hunt

This year we had our traditional East Egg Hunt at a park in my parent's neighborhood. It was the first time that Kyler was able to hunt for eggs and he picked up on what he was supposed to do pretty quickly. He also figured out pretty quickly that there was food inside the eggs! The Horvath Family and Blawat Family joined us and we are so happy to share this fun tradition with their families! The Easter Egg Hunt is one of my fondest childhood memories and I love that we are continuing this tradition for my kids! It is so fun to watch them hunt for their eggs, visit with friends and family, enjoy the nice weather and of course enjoy eating all of the yummy food!!!!
